UNESCO publiceert een call for papers voor de conferentie The Memory of the World in the Digital Age: Digitization and Preservation (26-28 september 2012 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada).

Vanuit een bezorgdheid over de kwetsbaarheid van digitaal erfgoed wil UNESCO de grote uitdagingen op dit gebied ter sprake brengen. Hierbij worden technologische, juridische, economische, politieke en culturele uitdagingen onderscheiden.
